In 2014, Dunkin’ Donuts canceled all of its advertising on WEEI and its sister stations after morning host Gerry Callahan, who was paid to endorse the company’s products, made a disparaging comment about its doughnuts.

WEEI really is a new kind of breed of stupid.
As of now, it's only 2 advertisers,

and Boston CU isn't a heavy advertiser (about 2 spots a day, and not in prime dayparts). Comcast is, but it's hard to know how much of that is trade (a lot of WEEI spots run on Comcast systems in the Boston area). Not a huge hit yet, but that could change if protests get louder. Fauria was suspended, we'll see if that is enough to calm the hysteria.
Looks like it just got worse for WEEI

Hearing the entire on air staff will be off the air on Friday for sensitivity training.

Also heard the Red Sox complained.

Like said above, a new breed of stupid.
The Red Sox started talking about dropping WEEI

as its flagship station. So, I would guess that made an impact.

Media in general has really changed over the last several years. I honestly don't know what reporting is and I'm pretty sure that journalism no longer actually exists.
Journalism exists.
